On 24 August at the University of Fribourg, members of the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian communities in Switzerland celebrated the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Baltic Way --a 600-km long 2-million people human chain linking Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn in 1989-- that protested the 1939 Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and its secret protocols and paved the way to the Baltic States' freedom.
On 11-13 March 2019, a group of 16 students and 6 teachers from Vilnius Jesuit Gymnasium are visiting the European Nuclear Research Organization (CERN) and other international organizations in Geneva.
On 20 November, the Lithuanian Permanent Mission ran a stand at the annual charity Bazaar organized by the UN Women’s Guild at the Palais des Nations. As in previous years, the event was a great success.
