Wednesday, January 24, Vilnius – President Dalia Grybauskaitė is leaving for Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos. The 48th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting is described as a historic come-together of Europe and America, which will gather a record number of participants from the highest levels of political, business, academic and cultural leadership.

Taking part in informal discussions will be U.S. President Donald Trump and other G7 leaders – French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Theresa May, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni. Other participants include Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, as well as EU, UN, OECD, and World Bank leaders.
