Ambassador G. Čekuolis has met with the Director General of the International Organization for Migration

On 11 April in Geneva Ambassador at large for migration and refugee issues Giedrius Čekuolis, on the margins of formal consultations on the Global compact on refugees, has met with the Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) William L. Swing.

They have discussed the cooperation between Lithuania and IOM, organization’s programme to support internally displaced persons due to ongoing conflict in Ukraine, as well as the negotiation process on the Global compact on safe, orderly and regular migration taking place in New York.
