Bank of Lithuania presented its project on Digital Collectable Coin at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU)

On 12-14 June, representatives of the Bank of Lithuania Mr. Egidijus Paleckis, Head of Monetary policy, Emission and Control Division at the Cash Department and Mr. Saulius Budzinauskas, Head of Project at the Banking Service, participate in the final meeting of the ITU Focus Group on Digital Currency Including Digital Fiat Currency (FG DFC).
Participants of the Workshop “ITU Digital Fiat Currency Showcase”, that took place in the margins of the FG DFC meeting, demonstrated an interest in the a project of the Bank of Lithuania on Digital Collectable Coin, presented by Mr. E. Paleckis at the workshop.
