Invitation to an online celebration

The Permanent Missions of Lithuania and Poland in Geneva are happy to invite you to virtually celebrate the 230th anniversary of the Constitution of 3 May 1791 and Mutual Pledge 20 October 1791.

The Constitution marks the passage from the old nobility rule over the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to modern times. Prominent Polish historian Henryk Samsonowicz described the Constitution of 3 May, along with the Constitution of the United States and the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, as one of the three most important documents of the era.

We will commemorate the anniversary with a musical recital by the international concert pianist MŪZA Rubackytė. The video will be available from 3 May, 2021, 18.00 CET on Youtube
