Lithuanian Diplomats Visit UNCTAD Secretary General

On 6 October 2016 the Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Ambassador Andrius Krivas and the Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the World Trade Organization Dalia Kadišienė made a courtesy call on the Secretary General of the UN Conference on Trade and Development, Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi.
At their meeting, they discussed the role of UNCTAD in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals under the 2030 Agenda and the relevance of Lithuania’s economic and social transition experience in this regard. They gave a positive evaluation of the results of the UNCTAD XIV Conference in Nairobi.
