Lithuanian Honorary Consul in Geneva Visits the Permanent Mission
On 2 September, the Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Andrius Krivas, met with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in the Swiss cantons of Geneva and Vaud, Mr. Michel Sogny.
Piano player, composer and philosopher Michel Sogny spoke about his own foundation SOS Talents, which was created to support gifted young pianists. The foundation has been supporting Lithuanian talents, among others. His new approach to teaching the piano has enabled many students of all age groups to enjoy playing this instrument and attain unique results.
Michel Sogny warmly remembered his path when he was appointed the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Switzerland in 2007 and expressed a strong desire to continue contributing to the cultural cooperation between Lithuania and Switzerland.
