Minister of Culture of Lithuania visits International Organizations in Geneva to talk on copyright and cultural affairs

On 26 October in Geneva, Ms. Liana Ruokytė-Jonsson, Lithuanian Minister of Culture, and with Mr. Francis Gurry, Director General of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Lithuania and WIPO on Alternative Dispute Resolution. While implementing this Memorandum, the Ministry of Culture and WIPO will cooperate on issues of effective enforcement of copyright and development of non-judicial copyright dispute settlement system in Lithuania. 

The Minister has also visited the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), discussed cultural activities with the heads of cultural programs of WIPO, CERN, and the United Nations Office at Geneva as well as with H.E. Mr. Abdulaziz Almuzaini, Director of the UNESCO Liaison Office at Geneva.
