Permanent Mission Organizes Regional Group Consultations on Biological Weapons Convention

In the run-up to the next Meeting of the High Contracting Parties to the Biological Weapons Convention in Geneva, Lithuania, in its capacity as the Eastern European Group cooridnator, on 14 March organized consultations of its regional group with the Chair of the Meeting, Chargé d‘affaires of Macedonia Ljupco Gjorgjinski.
At the consultations, the BWC Chair presented the activities of the working groups, the Head of the BWC Implementation Support Unit Daniel Feakes informed about the preparations for the meeting and a discussion with the group members took place. The meeting was chaired by the Permanent Representative of Lithuania. On the same day, analogous consultations took place with the other regional groups of the Convention.
