Permanent Mission Organizes Regional Group Consultations on Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems

On 2 February, the Lithuanian Permanent Mission, in its capacity as coordinator of the Eastern European Group (EEG), organized its regional group's consultations with the Ambassador of India Mr. Amandeep Singh Gill, Chairperson of the Governmental Group of Experts (GGE) on Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems (LAWS) under the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW). During the consultations the group members discussed the provisional agenda and programme of work of the upcoming meetings of the Group of Experts in April and August.
