Photo exhibition „Portrait of a (Working) Mother“ opened at Palais des Nations in Geneva
On 10 September 2018, Lithuanian Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Ambassador Andrius Krivas and the Head of the UN Office in Geneva Cultural Activities Programme Francesco Pisano opened a photo exhibition „Portrait of a (Working) Mother“.
The exhibition is an artistic project created by Lithuanian sociologist Dr. Eglė Kačkutė and Italian photographer Marina Cavazza, which explores issues of motherhood, maternal identity, gender equality, career and family balance as well as women’s and children’s rights in the globalised world. The exhibition which is part of UNOG's Cultural Activities Programme will be held from 10 to 21 September at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, where at the same time the Human Rights Council holds its 39th session.
