Piano Recital by Mūza Rubackytė Marks Lithuania State Restoration Centennial in Geneva
On 16 March the Lithuanian Permanent Mission in Geneva organized a concert dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Restoration of the Lithuanian State. Lithuania’s most celebrated international concert pianist, Mūza Rubackytė, played piano pieces by Čiurlionis, Beethoven, Schumann and Liszt with highest excellence and inspiration. Her performance enjoyed great success.
The guests were greeted by the Permanent Representative of Lithuania in Geneva Ambassador Andrius Krivas and by the President of the Swiss Lithuanian Community Mrs. Jūratė Caspersen. We rejoice about the numerous participation by Lithuanians living in Switzerland, members of the Geneva diplomatic corps, international organizations officials, and other friends of Lithuania!
