School Students from Lithuania Visit International Geneva

On 11-13 March 2019, a group of 16 students and 6 teachers from Vilnius Jesuit Gymnasium are visiting the European Nuclear Research Organization (CERN) and other international organizations in Geneva.

During the first two days, Professor Christoph Schäfer who supervises CERN cooperation with Lithuania introduced the group to CERN activities and experiments carried out in the Large Hadron Collider. Lithuania is an associate member of CERN since 2018. The last day of the visit will be devoted to the United Nations Office in Geneva and the World Intellectual Property Organization. Permanent Representative of Lithuania ambassador Andrius Krivas welcomed the group at the start of the visit to CERN.
