Speaker of the Parliament visits Geneva
Speaker of the Seimas, H. E. Mr. Viktoras Pranckietis, will be in Geneva (Switzerland) for an official visit that will take place on 24-27 April. Member of the Seimas, Mr. Eugenijus Gentvilas, is also accompanying the delegation.
The programme of the visit foresees meetings with the Secretary-General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Mr Martin Chungong and the Director-General of the United Nation Office in Geneva, Mr Michael Møller. The delegation, led by the Speaker of the Seimas, will visit CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), where he will meet with the Director-General of CERN, prof. Fabiola Gianotti and will be introduced to CERN’s work. The delegation will also visit the Permanent Mission of Lithuania and will meet with the Lithuanians that live in Switzerland.
