Vice-minister of Defence Edvinas Kerza and Secretary-General of the International Telecommunications Union Houlin Zhao discussed challenges of cyber security

During the visit to Geneva on 13 November, Vice-minister of Defence Edvinas Kerza met Secretary-General of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Houlin Zhao for a discussion on cyber security issues and ITU role in tackling arising challenges in particular through standardisation in the area of telecommunications. Secretary-General of the ITU also acknowledged the role of the WSIS Forum in providing a multi-stakeholder platform for a discussion of various cyber space related issues, including cyber security.
