Work of a Lithuanian photojournalist at the photo exhibition of the UN Office in Geneva

On 1 May, the United Nations Office in Geneva opened a virtual photo exhibition "Not A Woman‘s Job?“, dedicated to the International Workers' Day.

The work of a Lithuanian photojournalist Vidmantas Balkūnas, nomitated by the Permanent Mission of Lithuania in Geneva, is among 170 pictures exhibited online. The portrait of a firefighter Lina Lelevičiūtė contributes to breaking down deep-rooted gender stereotypes and demonstrates that all jobs are for all people, men and women alike.
