World celebrates Intellectual Property Day

On April 26, as every year since 2000, World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated under initiative of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
This year’s celebrations are devoted to the campaign “Powering change: Women in innovation and creativity” that aims to encourage women to create and innovate, as well as societies to foster inclusion of women into creative industries and development of new technologies.
World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated in WIPO Headquarters in Geneva and in many countries over the world. In Lithuania, State Patent Bureau organizes events devoted to mark the World Intellectual Property Day.
